Our Goal

Upward Bound Math & Science’s goal is to help students recognize and develop their potential to excel in math and science, and encourage them to pursue postsecondary degrees and careers in the math and science profession. The Upward Bound Math Science program is designed to strengthen the math and science skills of participating students.

UBMS is for YOU

If you want to…
  • Improve your chances of succeeding in high school and beyond.
  • Build communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attend college after high school graduation.
  • Explore an interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
  • Enjoy field trips and hands-on activities during the school year and summer.
  • Meet new friends, have new adventures, and develop as a scholar!


Who's Eligible?

 
To become a part of either of our Upward Bound Math & Science programs you must
  • Have an interest in Math or Science as a career.
  • Be a potential first generation college student and/or from a low-income family.
  • Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
  • Plan to attend a college or university.
