Our Goal
The goal of the Talent Search program is to prepare students to apply and enroll in colleges and universities, and assist students with financial aid resources.

La meta de el programa Educational Talent Search es de crear un ambiente de aprendizaje y apoyo.
Queremos ver a todos nuestros estudiantes crecer
académicamente y a su vez, ser mas cultural y socialmente conscientes.
Who is Eligible?
- Must attend one of the following high schools: El Cajon Valley, Monte Vista, Mount Miguel, or Mountain Empire High Schools.
- A potential first generation college student and/or low-income student.
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
- Have college as a goal during high school.
- Plan to attend and graduate from a college or university after high school graduation.
¿Quien es Elegible?
- Si el estudiante esta matriculado en una de la siguientes Preparatorias: El Cajon Valley, Monte Vista, Mount Miguel, or Mountain Empire High Schools.
- Si los padres de familia/tutores no terminaron sus estudios universitarios y/o ser de bajos recursos.
- Ser ciudadano o residente permanente de los Estados Unidos.
- Tener como meta atender la universidad durante el transcurso de la preparatoria.
- Después de la preparatoria planear en asistir la universidad o el colegio y graduarse de el.

The goal of Upward Bound Math Science Programs is to create a supportive learning environment. We want to see our students grow academically and become culturally and socially aware.
La meta de los programas Upward Bound Math Science es de crear un ambiente de aprendizaje y apoyo.

académicamente y a su vez, ser mas conscientes culturalmente y socialmente.
Upward Bound Math Science is 100% federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education
Who is Eligible?
- UBMS#1 (SD Central) Must attend Hoover High School, Mission Bay High School or Clairemont High School.
- UBMS #2 (GD East) Must attend Mount Miguel High School or Monte Vista High School.
- Must have an interest in Math or Science as a career.
- Must be potential first generation college student and/or from a low-income family.
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
- Plan to attend a college or university.
