UB Programs

Summer Residential
	For five weeks in the summer, students have the opportunity to live on-campus at UCSD (Sunday through Friday) and take courses specifically prepared for UCSD Upward Bound. Classes include science, math, English and a foreign language. While at UCSD, students receive daily tutoring, participate in various recreational activities, and go on field trips.
Saturday Field Trips
	Approximately once a month during the school year, students are bussed from their high school to attend a field trip related to careers or college preparation.
Tutoring	Students receive weekly tutoring free of charge at their school through Upward Bound.
Advising	Upward Bound students are provided with advising on topics ranging from college admissions to financial aid.
